Handmade Bags in Natural Fabrics is another wonderful title from Tuttle Publishing that I had the pleasure of reviewing. This book has twenty-five unique patterns with sixty variations with ideas for embellishments, appliqué, and more. The instructions and diagrams are very clear, so a beginner would have no problem creating the bags in this book. I would recommend to everyone, at all sewing skill levels.
My son was in need of a new bag to carry his books in, so I made him the large sized shoulder bag, with a short strap, so he could hold it in his hand.
Using some IKEA fabric I had in my stash, here is the finished result:
He loves it!
