When invited to participate in the Summer Swimwear Tour hosted by Call Ajaire, Gracious Threads, The Wolf and the Tree, it was an easy yes. The weather has finally heated up around here, my daughter needed a new suit, and all the designs look super cute!
The pattern I chose to make is Just Keep Swimming by The Wolf and the Tree. There are over 160 combinations, so chances are, you can definitely find one that works for you. We chose a short sleeve rash guard with medium length shorts in a size 5. Overall the fit was great, so we were very happy with the result. The only alteration I made was to make the shorts slightly narrower.
The fabric I used for the top was upcycled from a store bought rash guard, and the shorts fabric was purchased from my local fabric store.
My girl is so thrilled with her new swimsuit and I look forward to making more of them for her!
