This design was inspired by my love for classic 60s shift dresses. I gave it a modern update by adding some unique colour blocking, particularly at the neckline, armholes, and hemline.
By following the detailed, step-by-step instructions with high resolution photos, the result is those crisp lines that line up just right!
Anja had a lot of fun with this photo shoot. Here she is, showing off some of her Irish Dance moves.
The back has an easy-to-sew button and loop closure. The difficulty level for this dress is two out of four, meaning you'll want to be comfortable with basic sewing skills and be prepared to try some new techniques and pattern alterations.
To see more of all the looks, head over to Five and Ten Designs and check out more of Volume Three. I'll be back later in the week to show you more of Look 6.
this is by far my favorite dress from the e-book. love the color-blocking and simple silhouette!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Annika! There's something about a classic silhouette I just can't get enough. :)
