Yesterday afternoon, while my good, little children napped like champs, I completed my first submission for the Shorts on the Line Sewalong. They are the result of a self-drafted pattern that came to me while experimenting with the Contempo Dots fabric that arrived in the mail last week, paired with some leftover red cotton from the Bayern Sundress. The fabric was intended for part of Anja's fall/winter wardrobe, but when I saw it, I knew it had to be for summer. Of course, when Tobias woke up, he requested a pair, too, so you may see some photos added of him sporting a pair. I'm thinking of making a tutorial...anyone interested in one?

ReplyDeleteI love them! I think they could become a boy, too! I think you made a great unisex pattern... do share how!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you all!! Yeah, I don't think I need to change too much to make them for my boy...I was thinking black accenting instead of the red...maybe adding a cargo pocket or something. Hmmm...will start working on his pair and a tutorial with it.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabric you used for these...and the red stripe. So cute!
