Signature Look

Thursday, May 17, 2012

For my Project Run & Play Signature Look, I had a million ideas running through my head.  I even spent most of the time sewing a garment I didn't even use (but will show you eventually!).  I just kept coming back to what I really love to sew: classic lines & simple features.  The shirt will also be entered in the Project Pinterest Challenge at Two Yellow Birds Decor.
No patterns used...just my measuring tape, & trusty dress form.

The shirt is inspired by an amazing find I pinned on Pinterest from Paul et Paula, made by machooka.

I love smocking!

Lately, I've really been drawn to tied back features, and decided to leave the back open to help beat the heat this summer.

I always seem to end up with plaid somewhere!  I just can't help myself!
:)

Sad (literally) to say, I never get great shots of my children together.  This is about as good as it gets!

So, that wraps up the Season 4 Sew Along contributions for me!  Whew!  Tutorials coming soon.  If there are any particular ones you'd most like to see, please leave a comment and let me know!

Thank you PR & P for a great season.  I can't wait till tomorrow morning, to see what the designers came up with!
